Hush-Batten 55 is a resilient composite batten that facilitates the construction of a service void while simultaneously delivering excellent impact sound reduction between separating floors. This batten is manufactured from superior quality timber, which provides robust structural support. Integrated onto its underside is a highly resilient acoustic layer, specifically Hushfelt. This combination ensures long-lasting support for floating timber or chipboard floors by effectively decoupling them from the structural sub-floor. The resilient Hushfelt layer absorbs impact energy from footfall and other sources, preventing direct transmission of vibrations into the building's structure.
