240mm Isocheck Re-Mat Acoustic Isolation Strip

240mm Isocheck Re-Mat Acoustic Isolation Strips are used to reduce structure borne noise when installed beneath block work walls, separating concrete floors from the walls. The strips are made from a rubber crumb, providing minimal creep and great structural stability. The strips are available in different widths, thus can be used in different new build, refurbishment and conversion applications, able to withstand significant loads with no risk of collapsing when exposed to high load points. They offer a long term solution since not prone to deformation and ageing, minimizing construction height and also eco-friendly due to its fully recyclable content.

Prior to adding the strips, the floor must be flat, dry and free from any dust or dirt. The strips can be installed either adhesive bonded to the base floor or laid loose. The width of the strip is determined depending on the blockwork and finishes thickness. Excessive material, if any, can be trimmed and removed by using adequate tools, like a builder’s knife.
