Plastestrip T-Rail FIX/TEE/HD/125/60 is a heavy-duty, extruded aluminium profile that forms the backbone of a rainscreen sub-frame. Its distinctive "T" shape is engineered to provide a wide support surface, allowing for the mechanical fixing or structural bonding of two separate cladding panels onto a single rail while maintaining a consistent vertical joint. The T-Rails (and L-Rails) are universal components used across both the FastFrame and ThermaFrame systems.

CHARACTERISTICS

• 125mm face, 60mm leg.
• Made from high specification 6063 T6 grade aluminium.
• Wide fixing face provides ample space for installers to fix the edges of two panels side-by-side while maintaining the required "edge distance" for the fixings.
• The "leg" of the T-Rail clips into the bracket head, allowing for easy adjustment before final fixing.
• T-Rail acts as a primary vertical carrier, transferring the weight of the cladding (the dead load) back to the structural wall via the "Fixed Point" brackets.
• The leg of the T-Rail allows the installer to slide the profile in and out of the bracket making it possible to create a perfectly plumb facade even if the structural substrate is significantly out of level.
