Plasticlad Aluminium F Style External or Internal Corner AL/EF8 is a specific, durable trim profile designed for finishing cladding installations where two panels meet at an outward-facing angle. It is a highly robust solution, often chosen for its clean finish and defined structure.
This trim is extruded from high-grade aluminium and is distinguished by the manufacturer’s rigorous finishing process:
- Made from 6063 - T6 Aluminium.
- Unlike many standard trims on the market, Plasticlad ensures a high quality and durable finish by applying a polyester powder coating to all its aluminium profiles and fixings. This process provides a tougher, longer-lasting surface than standard paint or anodising, offering exceptional resistance to scratching, fading, and chemical degradation.
- The 'F' designation refers to the distinct shape of the channel that receives the cladding panels.
- The legs of the profile create a pocket on both sides where the edge of the cladding panel is inserted, completely encasing the cut edges.
- Available in 28 RAL colours.
- All stock powders are 80 – 85% gloss value also known as full gloss.
