Powerlon ThermaPerm Housewrap Thermo-Reflective Breather Membrane is a high performance single-layer woven breathable fabric used for the protection of walls in timber frame structures and for profiled metal industrial roofs. The high density polyethylene fibres are bonded together with high pressure and heat to create the flexible sheet. The Powerlon ThermaPerm housewrap allows the structure to breathe, being water resistant but allowing vapour in the insulation to escape as the membrane is breathable. It has a foil layer to increase the thermal efficiency of the building, keeping the build cooler in the summer and hold heat in in the cooler months.
