Plastestrip Galvanised Steel Top Hat Profile - ST/TH/30/30/100 features a raised central section with two fixing flanges. This is often preferred when the installer needs to maintain a specific cavity depth or requires more surface area for fixing. These horizontal support profiles act as a structural "bridge" between building studs. By installing these horizontally across the face of the studs, you create a continuous mounting surface. This allows the FastFrame or ThermaFrame "helping hand" brackets to be positioned exactly where the facade design requires them, rather than being restricted to the fixed centres of the building's internal frame.
